Samsung's Now Bar is headed to Galaxy Watches
The Now Bar is a big part of Samsung"s One UI 7 based on Android 15, and it"s now seemingly also headed to the company"s smartwatches running Wear OS. It will arrive as part of the One UI 8 Watch update.
The information comes from a teardown of a leaked version of a system app, which already features multiple code strings and references to the Now Bar.

You"ll be able to pick from having just an icon or both the icon and text when the screen is active. The image above shows where and how the Now Bar would sit on a watch face.
Gesture-based actions will let you double-pinch to open the Now Bar and enable additional actions when it has no current content. The Now Bar will essentially be a widget system that will surface contextually relevant data right on your watch face.
It can show contextual suggestions, maps information, media controls, the Now Brief, tips on how to use it, and live sports scores via Sports on Google. Of course, more categories could be added either before this hits the streets, or with a later update.
